Only in the 90s would this be allowed on primetime television.
I love, love, love, LOVE this show! I used to watch it every day after school. At first, I just enjoyed the goofy antics. But as an adult I saw all the subtle innuendo and got a lot of the subjects mentioned.
I think that while The Simpsons beat them when it comes to being an unique dysfunctional family, but many of the things mentioned made it at times a series that was ahead of its time.
Now we have stuff like Family Guy who focuses too much on random humor and not enough on solid stories and character development.
